Opening & overall scale
Confirm the finished firebox opening as well as the maximum overall width and height available on the wall.
Bespoke architectural stonework
A dramatic natural-stone focal point, handcrafted to the proportions of your room and fireplace opening. Each commission is developed from project drawings, then shaped in Türkiye for private residences, design studios and hospitality interiors worldwide.
Dimensions, component layout, stone selection, finish, packing and delivery are confirmed in writing before production. No fixed size or price is implied by the photographs.
Project at a glance
Workshop-built reference
Calacatta Viola is known for its ivory ground and expressive burgundy, plum and charcoal movement. On a fireplace surround, those veins travel across the mantel, jambs and inner frame, turning an architectural element into the visual anchor of the room.
The workshop photograph shows a completed carved surround before installation. The studio images communicate two possible design directions; they are not a promise of identical veining, exact dimensions or a fixed component arrangement.
A quieter direction
A restrained surround uses stepped reveals and balanced proportions instead of heavy ornament. It works well in contemporary renovations, quiet luxury interiors and rooms where the Calacatta Viola pattern should remain the principal decoration.
For either a minimal or classical interpretation, the opening, shelf, jambs, returns and hearth are resolved together. This avoids treating the mantel as an isolated object and helps the finished surround sit naturally within the wall elevation.
Made for the architecture
The most convincing custom fireplace begins with the room and the appliance—not a generic standard size. These four items establish the working brief.
Confirm the finished firebox opening as well as the maximum overall width and height available on the wall.
Define mantel depth, jamb thickness, layered mouldings, carved details, side returns and relationships to skirting or wall panels.
State whether the project needs a hearth slab, inner slips, separate sections or other stone pieces, and identify every visible edge.
Provide the firebox specification, wall build-up, site access, delivery address and any limits affecting component size or handling.
Commissioning process
A clear approval sequence protects the proportions, fabrication brief and installation planning before marble is cut.
Share drawings, measurements, design references, destination and target timing.
Material direction, components, finish, visible faces, packing and delivery requirements are reviewed.
Production dimensions and profiles are fixed in the written project record before fabrication.
The surround is shaped, checked and prepared for the agreed shipment method.
For an accurate quotation
Centimetres or inches are both welcome. Label finished dimensions clearly and identify whether they refer to the firebox, stone opening or overall outside edge.
The stone surround is one part of a complete fireplace assembly. A qualified local professional must verify the firebox or appliance, combustible clearances, wall structure, anchoring, flue or ventilation, hearth, local code and installation method before the order is finalized and again before installation.
Project questions
These answers define the information boundary for a made-to-order architectural piece.
Yes. The surround is developed from approved project dimensions rather than a single advertised standard size. Overall size, stone opening, shelf, jambs, projection, returns and hearth should be shown separately.
No. Calacatta Viola is a natural material, so every block has unique veining, tone and mineral markings. The photographs communicate material character and design direction.
The written quotation lists the exact stone components, finish, packing, delivery terms and any other agreed inclusions. Do not assume the firebox, appliance, flue, installation or site work is included unless it is stated in writing.
Yes. The two design directions on this page show how the same architectural idea can move from restrained stepped profiles to deeper classical mouldings and carved detail. Feasibility depends on dimensions, stone and approved drawings.
Yes. International enquiries from homeowners, designers, architects, hotels and procurement teams are welcome. Shipping method and cost depend on the final component sizes, weight, destination and access conditions.
